General Policies

You must be 18 years old with a valid form of government identification.

Please arrive early to your appointment for paperwork.

If you are running late please give me a courtesy message. (I understand things happen) Please respect each other’s time! I have my days planned out and even 10-15 minutes late can push my whole day back. ***If you are 20+ minutes late your deposit will be forfeited. Lateness is subject to be rescheduled.***

Confirmation messages are sent out a week prior. These must be responded to or potentially lose your spot.

I cannot tattoo over sunburned or injured skin, including rashes or scabs. I can tattoo over stretch marks and scars (must be shown area ahead of time to determine if it's possible to tattoo). If you come to an appointment with injury/rash/sunburn in the area you want a tattoo, you will have to either reschedule or relocate the placement (deposit forfeited if need to reschedule).

I cannot tattoo you if taken antibiotics within the past week.

All clients will have one free touch up within the first 3 months of healing. After that if you're coming in for new work I will touch up old pieces free of charge. If you want to only schedule a second touch up you will be charged accordingly. If you no call/no show your first touch up, it will still be counted as your free session.

Deposits

DEPOSITS ARE NON REFUNDABLE AND NON TRANSFERABLE

Deposit must be made to book an appointment. (Small work or large scale work deposit amount may vary)

Deposits are applied to the cost of the session. If you are coming in for multiple sessions a deposit will be required to book each appointment date.

A WEEK NOTICE is required to reschedule. Your deposit will be forfeited if proper notice is not given. (I understand emergencies happen—communication is key. Life takes crazy turns please keep me informed if you cannot make an appointment. I will work with you) A new deposit will be required to rebook if failure to comply.

The second reschedule of the same appointment a new deposit is required (back to back reschedules). Continuous reschedules of a flash design may lead to forfeiting the drawing.

You must reschedule an appointment within 1 year or deposit is forfeited (exceptions for pregnancy and breast feeding).

If you have not paid a deposit, no appointment will be held.

CUSTOM WORK:

I do custom tattoo work. This means I will create custom tattoo work and designs that are of my own choices and concepts.

Drawings will not be shown until the day of your appointment, unless specified otherwise. Please trust the process. I am happy to edit drawings the day of if need be.

I will not copy another artist's work, even with their permission.

By agreeing to place a deposit and be tattooed you recognize that you are working with my skill set to receive a unique art piece from me. You are allowing me to have creative control during the tattoo process.

I will take all your concepts and ideas into consideration to bring to life what you are envisioning.

Any last minute or major changes to design and/or idea after booking will risk forfeiting your deposit. You are responsible for disclosing all details and elements that you want to include in your tattoo prior to your appointment.

If a complete redraw is necessary, the deposit will be taken for the day to use for a consult. Although this is rare, we will use this time to find the proper direction for what your envisioning for the piece.

*Estimate*

Arm sleeve- 5-7 full day sessions (Half sleeve will require 2 – 4)

Leg sleeve - 9-11 full day sessions (Half leg sleeve will require 3 – 6)

Full Back piece - 5-9 full day sessions

A photo of the area to be tattooed is needed before any deposits or scheduling will take place. This is to determine if there is a cover up or other tattoos to be worked around, size of the location, and what colors will fit best for your skin tone.

While it's hard to give a specific price per piece, I can give you a range of sessions for what I think your project will take. Pricing is subject to change depending on exact sizing and detail.

By booking this appointment you understand that the price for the appointment type you selected will be due. If for any reason you do not sit for the entirety of the duration you choose, full payment will still be required.

Large scale projects are a big commitment. I put a lot of energy and love into every piece I create and look forward to finishing each one. I understand things come up in life sickness, financial obligations, pregnancy, etc communication is key. If it’s been over a year since your last session without any communication you risk your design being offered to another client that’s more comitted and ready. This policy is to avoid client starting multisession work and me never being able to complete the project.

WHAT TO EXPECT ON TATTOO DAY:

All drawings are finalized the day of the appointment. I do not send out photos of artwork prior to the scheduled appointment. Small changes can be made the day of, but they must be minimal. This does require a lot of trust, but I will do my best to deliver 110% for every client.

There is usually a lunch break at some point during the day as well though clients are encouraged to bring snacks/water. We can certainly order food for you too as our shop is surrounded by several wonderful restaurants and chains.

It is also important to bring a variety of comfortable, accessible clothes and shoes to wear during and after being tattooed. A sweatshirt/robe/blanket is also recommended. While we try to keep our studio a comfortable temperature, a long day of tattooing will usually cause most clients to feel cold.

For any torso work, Id suggest purchasing a strapless thong is very helpful. I have found that cutting boob tape and making your own strapless undergarment works best.

I will provide aftercare for your tattoo and a thorough explanation on how to use it. I have my clients heal with two different methods of aftercare and I will determine which will be a good fit once we are finished tattooing.

Your deposited will be forfeited and appointment will be rescheduled if you come in with numbing cream.

Please ask before bringing guests to your appointment. Weekends we tend to limit guests because all artists are working and it’s a full studio. No one under the age of 18 is permitted in the studio at any time.

I reserve the right to send you home if you come into the studio visibly sick/ill. In this event, your deposit would be forfeited. Please communicate if you are not feeling well and happy to find a reschedule date.

AFTERCARE:

Aftercare is included with your tattoo. I will provide a lotion for you as well as a second skin bandage.

The bandage will stay on for 3-5 days. (If full color tattoo a second piece will be given to change after 24 hours). You can shower and live everyday normal life with this bandage. I do not recommend working out while bandage is on. This bandage acts as a scab and promotes the healing process. You may see liquid under the bandage which is completely NORMAL. After the required amount of days left on, you will slowly remove the bandage in the shower wash anti micro bacterial soap (I recommend Dr Bonners baby Castile) and water. Use clean paper towels and pat dry. Do not pick, scratch, itch tattoo while healing. Cannot be exposed to direct sun or submerge new tattoo in water until 2 weeks (fully healed). Apply lotion 2-3 times a day in nice thin layers. Too thick of lotion can suffocate the tattoo and lead to a bad heal.
